TOURS AND LOCAL IMPACT

Senator Paul Faraci and a group of distinguished guests toured the Flyover Stages on September 15th and were able to make a visit to the set of Moses the Black.


State Rep Sharon Chung and Bloomington Mayor Dan Brady tour Flyover early July and visit the set of ā€˜Chili Finger’. Here is her full review!


Illinois Green Business Association toured the studio 10/01 to do a full overview and update of renewable ideas that will help make the film industry less wasteful.

FLYOVER ANNOUNCES ā€˜FLIGHT SCHOOL’ SERIES

The need for artist and community education is essential for Flyover to grow its base of workforce, so starting late fall we will be doing monthly informational series that come with certification and notes on how to get into the industry.

Coming this January, learn from accomplished cinematographer Robert Patrick Stern in his six-week camera class that teaches the foundations of how to be the core of the camera department. This class meets weekly in the evenings, getting on your feet and working, to give students the tools to go from the classroom to a professional setting.


This will be the first of many lab-based class from Flight School - here's what's coming next.

You can come check out and meet the local people who work in a range of departments to see if there is one you might fit in. Chanute Field was named after Octave Chanute (1832–1910). He was a smart engineer who helped design early flying machines. He was also a friend and advisor to the Wright brothers, who invented the airplane.
